Delilah Shepard's Webpage

About Delilah Shepard

My name is Delilah Shepard and I am graduating in June. I started this Web Development class because it is part of my requirements to finish my degree. I have never been interested in learning how to make websites or what goes on in them, but being in this class has shown me that it can be cool. I use Google for basically everything because I am lazy and I would much rather be told than figure it out for myself, red flag. But for things that I am really interested in learning, I will figure it out on my own. I don't really find computers interesting either, I am more interested in things that don't involve technology but in this evolving world, it is handy to know things.

My goal for this class is to learn as much as I can about making webpages and trying to stay stress-free in my last term here, which isn't going to well. But I know that it is only temporary and the knowledge I gain is better than the grades I recieve. I am graduatig with a small business degree, which means that I will be able to use this knowledge to make my own websites and stuff for my business.

A Couple of Interesting Websites

Lane Community College What I like about this website is that it has a nice, appealing logo in the top corner and the colors are consistent through the page. I also like how there is hyperlinks everywhere in words and pictures. I would like to explore more with how to hyperlink images. I also like that there are boxes that include basic line shapes inside the box with words.

Oregon State University What I like about this website is that it has hyperlink images with a small description underneath. I also like that there are important words that are in a rounded red filled border. I want to explore that more too.

Casa Di Solare What I love about this website is the illusion of the movement in the ball when scrolling. It is such a cool effect and then as you continue to scroll for words, it continues to zoom in and out and move. I really think this is the coolest website I have ever seen.
